Weekend Stuff!

Well, I knew that this would happen again. We got busy and I haven't posted in a while. I'm sorry....
I also haven't posted a belly picture in a while. I will very soon. Hopefully this post will make up for it. So, I wanted to share a little bit about what went on this weekend and just recently. Warning: This will be a long post because I have so much to say.

First off, yard sales! Woot woot! Raise the roof! What what! Ok, sorry I got carried away. Yard saleing is one of my favorite summer activities. I actually compare the feeling it to a child Christmas morning. Like this:

I know right? Now put me in there when I find a good deal. That's how much I love it. lol My Hubby? Not so much. But he was a trooper this last weekend and braved the yard sales with me. Along with our friend Ben. Hi Ben. Actually, he probably doesn't read my blog. lol There is a town (neighborhood really but they like to pretend they are a town) around here that started doing yard sales every Memorial Day weekend a few years ago called Canadian Lakes. Canadian Lakes is like a small village of really really rich people so they usually have good stuff.

Things that I was looking for:

  • Baby clothes
  • High chair
  • Maternity clothes
  • Possibly a pack n play (depending on the color)

Things that I ended up with?

  • Baby Clothes

Yeah I was a little bummed this year. My husband on the other hand?

Things he was looking for?
  • Nothing
Things he ended up with?
  • Radial arm saw
  • New kitchen faucet
  • New golf shirt
  • 50 golf balls
  • Put returner
  • Laser level
Ok, so the new kitchen faucet was sort of for both of us. I was jealous that he kept finding great deals. It's like when you tell your parents what you want for Christmas and they get it mixed up and buy your sibling what you asked for and buy you something else. lol
The baby clothes I got were adorable though. Just saying. I have almost filled a tote with baby clothes now.

Then, we went yard saleing a little on Saturday just around our area and didn't find much. We did get a nice lamp for $5 though. On Sunday we went to my Great Aunt Pat & Uncle Jim's cabin up north. That was a lot of family filled fun. (try saying that 10 times fast) Here is a little recap of Sunday:

On the way there. My neice Olivea slowly falling asleep. I love that little girl.

One of my many cousins. This is Abby (her and Olivea are great friends)

Some of my boy cousins trying to help Gabe with a game on his phone.

Olivea being adorable as usual.

My cousin Andy helping my Uncle Jim fix one of the many squirt guns that were spraying people. The poor guy just wanted to help and was being sprayed the entire time. lol

Olivea showing me how scared I can get when I think she's going to fall while climbing the deck. lol

Olivea & Abby chillin

Very fun! I love my family. One of the funniest moments: My grandma thinking my Uncle Jim's beer was her tea. Haha! She definitely doesn't like beer.

Monday, we went to Burley Park. Burley Park is a HUGE flea market that only opens during summer holidays. We went with our friends Ben (same Ben as before) and his sister Julia who just got back from Ukraine!

Things I was looking for:

  • Knock off coach diaper bag
  • Anything fun

Things I ended up with:
  • Nothing
Things my husband was looking for:
  • Nothing
Things he ended up with:
  • A new shot gun
  • Knife sharpener
  • Throwing knives

I know right!?

That's ok. I'm glad he has new toys. Here are some pictures of that:

Julia & I's feet after walking around the whole time.

Ice cream run! Yay! That's Ben & Julia.

Oh yeah I forgot I also stopped at yard sale before the flea market and I got a few maternity clothes. I tried on this shirt and Gabe was like "holy cow, you look way pregnant in this shirt." So, he took a picture. Don't mind my sunburn and the quality of the picture because it's from my phone. lol

Thanks for reading! All in all it was a great weekend. :)
What did you do for Memorial Day weekend?

Stay tuned for a new belly picture and also the post about Aria & I's first baby shower! Yay!
